1. Enrolment

For a Dutch course
For your first Dutch course, you take an intake interview and possibly a placement test.
You have two options:

You can enrol immediately after the interview.

Have you taken a Dutch course less than six months ago?
You can register immediately at the CVO Lethas secretariat.

 

For a French course
For your first French course, you take an intake interview and possibly a placement test at CVO Lethas campus Landsroem, Landsroemlaan 126, 1083 Brussels. 
You can enrol immediately after the interview.

Have you taken a French course less than six months ago?
You can register immediately at the CVO Lethas secretariat.

 

For an ICT course
Contact one of our secretariats. You can enrol directly.

For the Secondary Education Diploma programme

  • You always attend an information session first.

  • You will be invited for exemption tests.

  • After the tests, you will receive a date and time for an intake interview.

  • You can enrol immediately after the interview.

Online enrolment
For some modules, you can also enrol online. In that case, the button “Enrol now” appears on the website.


Bring the following documents for every enrolment:

  • a valid identity card or proof of legal residence if you are not Belgian;

  • certificates, diplomas or attestations obtained earlier;

  • documents for exemption or reduction of the enrolment fee;

  • if applicable, an exemption request;

  • if applicable, an application for paid educational leave.

Your enrolment is valid if:

  • you register on time (up to the day when one third of the course has already taken place);

  • you have paid the enrolment fee and/or provided the correct exemption documents;

  • you agree with our centre regulations;

  • you meet the admission requirements and have submitted the required documents;

  • you are Belgian or have a recognised legal residence status.

Enrolment is personal: you cannot enrol someone else.


2. How much does it cost?

Dutch as a Second Language (NT2)

  • €1.50 per lesson period (1.1-1.2).
  • €0.60 per lesson period (modules 2.1-2.4)

  • €40 for the textbook or photocopies.

  • If your official address is in Brussels, you do not pay course fees up to level 2.4. You only pay for the textbook.

French

  • €4 per lesson period.

  • €15 for photocopies.

ICT

  • €2.25 per lesson hour.

  • Additional costs for course material (depending on the module, provided at enrolment).

Secondary Education Diploma

Vocational training

  • €2.25 per lesson hour, maximum €450 per semester.

  • Reduced fee: €1 per lesson hour.

Modules in AAV (Additional General Education)

  • €0.03 per lesson period.

  • Contribution for materials: €1 per 10 lesson periods.

Human Sciences (AV modules)

  • €0.03 per lesson period.

  • Contribution for materials: €1 per 10 lesson periods.

No study grants are available in adult education.
If you obtain your secondary school diploma for the first time through an AAV and AV programme, you may get your enrolment fee refunded via a grant.


3. Withdrawal and refunds

If you stop the course

  • Always deregister at the secretariat.

  • If you stop, the enrolment fee will not be refunded.

If you cancel the course

  • Cancellation before the course starts: refund of the enrolment fee, minus €20 administration fee.

  • If the total amount (enrolment fee + course material) is less than €20, no refund is granted.
